Winamac, April 21 - John C. Saidly, 69, former resident of Lafayette died suddenly Friday at his home of a heart attack. Born at Clarks Hill, he married June Buchanan. He owned and operated a greenhouse here retiring two years ago and was a member of the Pulaski County draft board, town board, Masonic Lodge and Presbyterian Church. Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Helen Sherrill, Peru; a son, Harris Saidla, Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. George Spar, Frankfort; Mrs. Glenn Long, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Wilbur Cooper, Darlington. Body at Fry & Lang Funeral Home.
